This is a quality replacement for Yamaha part number 63M-81800-00-00.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When installing on an 1100, 1200 & 1300 motors you may need to remove the exhaust manifold to properly install this starter. It is a tight fit and it must be installed perfectly straight, we recommend lubricating the nose and O-Rings with a non-petroleum based lubricant, then lightly tap the starter with a rubber malled to fully seat it. DO NOT use a hammer as you will shatter the magnents inside the starter.
